We are making some changes to our Turn the Page event! It is still a Trivia Night at the Des Moines Social Club on April 14th, 7-10 pm. There is still a cash bar and a silent auction, as well as food provided.
The change is that now we are asking for a suggested donation of $10-20 instead of the CrowdRise fundraising. You can do this at the door, or you can still use CrowdRise beforehand. Or you can donate on our website as well!
The money raised goes to buying books for the children to take home and more books for the carts. Any amount helps!
If you want to help more kids by going above the suggested donation,
$25 purchases five new books for our Power Lunch program.
$50 provides three new mentor background checks.
$100 supplies program material for 10 new mentors.
