Q: Favorite book (and why!)
A: It’s hard to pick just one book, but one of my favorite books is A Wrinkle in Time. I loved reading it as a child and still enjoy it!
Q: Why do you volunteer with Everybody Wins! Iowa?:
A: I love spending time with the students and helping them to develop a love of reading – something which will stay with them the rest of their lives!
Q: With so many options for nonprofit or volunteer work in Central Iowa, what would you say to someone considering joining Everybody Wins! Iowa and the Power Read program?
A: It is a lot of fun, getting to know the student you’re matched with and reading books together! Plus, it’s really easy to do over your lunch hour.
