Q: Why do you volunteer with Everybody Wins! Iowa?
A: I truly enjoy my team reading with the students. There is tremendous need to help improve literacy in Central Iowa and this Organization allows for mentors to contribute in meaningful ways.
Q: With so many options for nonprofit or volunteer work in Central Iowa, what would you say to someone considering joining Everybody Wins! Iowa and the Power Read program?
A: I think Everybody Wins is a fun and easy way to help children in need. With many site locations and times, it is easy to commit the time to read with a child weekly at a convenient location. And the kids really enjoy their time with their mentors, which makes it even better as a volunteer.
